...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST TUESDAY... ...LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM EST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, west winds 15 to 25 knots and waves 2 to 5 feet expected. For the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels expected. * WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to Vermilion OH. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 4 AM EST Tuesday. For the Low Water Advisory, from 7 AM this morning to 10 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The critical mark for safe navigation is 2 inches below low water datum at Toledo. Water levels are expected to quickly fall this morning as southwest winds increase, with levels likely to reach between 0 and 10 inches below low water datum. Water levels are expected to rise this evening as winds shift westerly and slowly decrease. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions. Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due to below normal water levels. &&
